Sorry man. There weren’t any qualified workers. There’s a labor shortage in tech, didn’t you hear?
I recently got rejected from an entry level tech position nobody else applied for. Literally the job app shows me how many applicants have applied, and they told me "we have a lot of candidates so it's very competitive"

Yup, doesn't surprise me at all. The tech "labor scarcity" is artificial, that was what I was joking about.
