Going to try out buddhism and if it doesn't work out I'm going to start some sort of esoteric edgelords group on meet-ups and see if that does anything.

Another point to consider: your a dragon and Taoist mythology has dragons in it (dragon kings, Shenlong, etc.)

The only temple nearby is a clan temple. I don't think they have time or inclination to educate me in their traditions and it makes my social incompetence explode
