It's a miracle that most such people think transhumanism is evil technology and self exclude from it but that may not be sufficient to ensure a free or ethical future.

Trying to be a universalist in a simulationist context is kind of like trying to build Jurassic Park. You're bringing back large numbers of dangerous dinosaurs and if anything goes wrong the world is fucked.
