Other trans people seem somewhat stupid to me. You argue that gender is a cluster of known and unknown material facts and should be defined in relation to these facts and they say "But what if someone's gender doesn't correspond to anything material?" Then gender is supernatural.
You're literally hedging against the most tested and corroborated premise in science, which is materialism. Why would you do this? Why are people built this way?
The better question is "who gets to define when clusters are arbitrary nominalist impositions?" and the answer is "I do, because I'm the one who hypothesized the existence of the material facts in question". Not even joking. Transphobes get fucked.
