Just thought of this while contemplating all the talkers in high finance and industry who say they believe in Capitalism. They don't. They believe in good enough. And in the long run, you always grow or die, whether as a business or a nation, and they've chosen die.
If the CEOs of the world wanted to they could get together and construct a list of grievances and demands along the lines of the Magna Carta that would have an impact of equivalent magnitude on the rights and privileges of the human race. But they don't. They like the status quo.

why do you judge them for this when their project is the same as yours, escape into a fortified sphere of existence (privately secured communities, mars, deathlessness) where they never have to deal with consequences that many would define as the human condition
