I miss when “crypto” was short for “cryptography” and not “cryptofascist pretend currency”.

All currency is pretend. Most currency is backed by implicit threat of force. Fiat is complicity in literal violence. There are some weird people attracted to cryptocurrency but it's overall less problematic than fiat.

Crypto doesn't fund the American military and military industrial complex, prop up Saudi oil, or enable CIA adventurism in South America. It literally just pollutes a bit and is associated with weird tech people because they were first movers.

You seem to have issues with your sense of scale on several of these subjects if this is your reply. I recommend reading some sources that weren't penned by raving libertarians.

Spending US dollars is not equivalent to directly funding the Iraq war, and if you think it is then I don't know what to tell you.
