Spending US dollars is not equivalent to directly funding the Iraq war, and if you think it is then I don't know what to tell you.
If you earn in US dollars you pay taxes in US dollars. If you spend in US dollars you pay sales tax in US Dollars. Something like Monero, an untraceable crypto coin, is hypothetically better.

You're being overly reductionist. You're effectively equating being a US citizen with being a war criminal. That's not how you inspire people to rise up against an unjust country from inside, that's how you inspire people to block you.

There's no such thing as ethical consumption under blah blah blah. I'm just pointing out that if you wanted to fractionally improve your consumption you could. That's the opposite of absolutist.
