What have you played so far? Have you considered emulation?
Just going to name drop a bunch of games, most of which can be emulated or bought on PC: Ico Mother 3 Panzer Dragoon Saga Undertale Metal Gear Solid 2 Dead Rising Fallout:New Vegas Silent Hill 2 Drakengard 3 Nier (preferably Gestalt) Nier Automata (less good but ok)

7/11ths of them should run on a 300 dollar laptop running any major OS including Linux or OSX. Actually about that many will run on a Samsung Galaxy S8 or later I think.
