Rich yes, bourgeoisie no. They're still fundamentally dependent on others for their income. There is still an element of precarity there.

I was one of them. Extreme high costs to rent & live in urban centers, where tech offices are, negates feeling of wealth, makes anxious sense of dependence on hands that feed. Anxious dependence = D voters. Key is to invest smartly w whatever one can save in those conditions.
