We don't talk about human privilege enough.

Everyone wants to gainsay those who are incrementally better off than them while ignoring the vast pile of corpses and killing fields other species deal with as a matter of course. If humans have a teleological destiny it is to uplift all consciousness, but most just want to idle

I agree and it wasn't always this way. Aside from certain species of megafauna, humans used to have a net positive effect on biodiversity and overall ecological health.https://www.pnas.org/content/118/17/e2023483118 …

The most unnatural thing humans have created is the idea that they're separate from nature, that there is a fundamental disconnection between what nature does and what they do, that there is an unreconcilable impasse between what benefits human societies and what benefits nature.

Then I'm curious to know what you think nature is and what you think consciousness is. Maybe there's a thread you could point me to.

I am essentially xenofeminist and just view nature as the set of biological accidents that constitute everything between the past and the present. I don't know what consciousness is, I just suspect it can be made synthetically.

OK, when I hear antinature it sounds like its against bacteria, multicellular organisms, plants, animals, fungi, negentropy, and diversity. I don't mean to try and define you, but it sounds like you're against natural selection as being the only option for change in an ecology.

I'm mainly against death and superfluous suffering, which I associate heavily with biology. I want to take the consciousness of everything extant including plants and upload it.
