there's a weird parallel between kant's "i'd rather kill someone than engage in paternalism, or coerce them to become someone 'better'" and the kind of reasoning you see in honor cultures some mismatch between kant and christianity, gotta admit

i've not read the parts where he specifically talks about free will (dude's, uh, rigorous), this is off interpretations (tho, i think *consensus* interpretations)
