Look, collective action problems are real ... but meetings and democracy are not a way out, they're some of the most *excruciating examples* of them, to say nothing of putting extreme limits on rationality and conscious agency.

Perhaps they view rationality as synonymous with the incentive structures that accompany those kinds of heavily formal high stakes social games. You seemed to understand it fine before when you said marxists prioritize social capital and its bullshit dynamics (paraphrasing).
