1. “all known forms of ignorance” you must see the problem there 2. only recognized conflict- in fact, *forced* mind uploading is just another form of “peace through totalitarianism” killing everyone would be even more effective, if “reducing conflict” is your only telos

A problem that's intrinsic to every alternative is not an argument against any one system. What system can recognize unknown forms of ignorance? What system can recognize unrecognized conflict? This is silly.

Why is science incompatible with uploaded minds?

going to mars doesn’t conflict with science either, but it’s not an answer to fundamental problems uploading minds/colonizing mars just doesn’t solve either of those conflicts, they are solutions to narrow problem-descriptions

further, it doesn’t actually seem all that trivial to “solve” “known ignorance” if you look at the world, people disagree on what ignorance even *is*

Yes, but the fact that 98% of human beings are insane doesn't change the fact that 2% are broadly correct and in agreement.

the two percent that think their are *finally* correct, are insane

Not finally, just procedurally, and capable of actually following the procedure in practice.

if all you have (I think rightly) is method, it’s important that your methods operate on mistaken fundamental universals

I'm not sure what this means

your procedure doesn’t have a “final” end (so you claim), but it speaks in terms of *fully* solving fundamental problems you might actually just be mistaken about the fundamentalness of the problems, really ending *actual* fundamental problems would mean ending people/meaning
