Yes, but the fact that 98% of human beings are insane doesn't change the fact that 2% are broadly correct and in agreement.
All this proves is that asking permission or trying to resolve the problem through existing politics is likely to result in something evil. I already know that.

sure, politics don’t contain new solutions (they are how we select whose solution/problem-description we use), but “forced mind uploading” (however force is deployed) is literally a political solution
