the "evaporative cooling of group beliefs" has not held well, the radicals don't drive moderates from groups whose label is intrinsic to moderate identities, they just bully the moderates into becoming radicals
In opinion maybe. There are a small number of people who actually do things though, and the ratio of doers to don'ters doesn't really change much.
