if i had a mass scale social coordination mechanism that enabled the will of the people to be made manifest, i would simply only allow it to be used for good purposes, not to enforce consensus positions derived from vindictiveness, trendiness, marketing, dank memes, or shitposts
If I were God, I would simply not invent light. That way nobody could see anything and their complaints would be limited to things they couldn't describe properly.
