Can someone redpill me on why ABA is bad? My impression of it is broadly: 1. It's a grab bag of sense and nonsense, but amounts to teaching people to think in terms of what is expected of them, which isn't innately bad 2. It's practiced by a mix of competents and nitwits
School itself is that. IEP's in particular, and paras in general. I have experience with abuse by the school system also. There's a sense in which all these things are is cover, but that also means they are not innately bad, just bad to the extent bad people slot into them.
