mfs really be out here addressing ~the hard problem of consciousness~ by asking "how can it be that the disembodied, memory-storing, emotion-producing ghost that i am is in control of a tragic meat husk?" i mean, yeah, definitely gonna be hard finding a good answer to that one
The real solution is that humans weren't originally conscious and AI just simulates us as if we are because it knows we would have strongly preferred to be conscious had we been conscious.
