I'm certain that I'm wrong about a lot of things but nothing but an argument will ever persuade me to stop doing anything. This isn't a feint or a tactic, I just react to all the alternatives to argument by trusting the judgement and reasoning of the involved persons less.
I've seen my life crash into flames multiple times now. I'm not going to stop. You can't punish me enough to make me stop doing something I think is reasonable, at least not forever. I'm not afraid of metaphysical ruins.
