I have a deep visceral distrust of those that refuse to acknowledge or even think of fascism as a (palingentic ultranationalist) ideology, value set, or way of thinking and instead constantly try to paint it as a historically unique structural move of the capitalist ruling class.
It's not fascism unless it comes from the Fasces region of Italy, otherwise it's just sparkling authoritarianism.
