If fallacies were ranked by their appeal, the Just World Fallacy would probably be king. Even holocaust survivors apparently talk shit about holocaust non-survivors. Given the robustness of the delusion, it's probably worth dismissing the illusion of purpose in systems generally.
Similarly belief in God. If your belief gets stronger the more obviously unlikely it is then it's applicability to reality is worse than "low". Instrumental value may still exist but if your goal is to see clear eyed, beware anti-fragile beliefs as the traps they are.
