Wonder how precisely different businesses keep track of the IQ requirements of their profession. Either way this explains a lot. Degree inflation is not a good thing for anyone in the long run.

Well I mean, it's used as a proxy for SOMETHING and that something generally includes a more heuristic assessment of intelligence. So maybe not IQ specifically, maybe something worse than IQ.
