Most philosophies start out in a good place and then go bankrupt. Postmodernism is unusual in that it was bankrupt from day one.

Are any postmodernist/poststructuralist philosophers (save perhaps Baudrillard, if you don't look too closely) not infected by Saussure's philosophy of language or Levi-Strauss' philosophy of mind? No. It doesn't really matter how many you've read when you know their foundation.
