If I had exactly one objection to pick about Christianity, it would probably be Christ as the last prophet. The most important, the final prophet; these things would be reasonable. But the last? A prophet, biblically, is someone who argues with God and wins. We still need that.

I don't know if that's exactly Biblical... I think the idea in the New Testament is that prophecy was a function distributed among the faithful, an example being the canonization of Saints on the basis of popular veneration, or the Apostolic Succession
Kind of smuggling Jewish perception of the Torah into my interpretation of the Bible tbh, because my own reading of the old testament was similar enough to views I later encountered among Jewish people towards the Torah. The most profound prophet is Solomon via Solomons Prayer.

For God to relent in the face of prayer, to become more gentle, more subtle, less of a pure force of terror, because of man's relationship to God: this is something worth treasuring in sacred texts, and worth acting out more in the world, so of course it seems to be forgotten now
