Why bother? Critical infrastructure seems poised to collapse on its own.

Yeah, I feel that. Continuing to fight for a good future, at a risk, is more appealing than glumly accepting inevitable miseries.

My fear is being made "productive" out of practicality, rather than tortured out of spite. My fear is I would be sewn into a metaphorical capitalist human centipede, and a machine would wear my nervous system like a glove, and I would dance like a puppet on another's strings.
