If a dragon has eight heads and each of them professes a different faith, what happens to the dragon when it dies?

Some cultures have multiple souls. One type of soul could correspond to the personality, so each head could have its own personality-soul which has its own fate upon death. But there's also "body souls" (a sort of etheric body double). All 8 heads might have the same body soul.

In cultures that believe in multiple souls, the body soul is sometimes called the "blood soul" or whatever, and hangs around the physical body after death, sometimes roaming the world as a ghost, while the personality goes on to the other plane or reincarnates or whatever.
