Which came first your love of Drakengard or your dragon fetish? Either way that's badass
Early 2014 is when I started learning about Shadowrun, early 2015 is when I started playing the Drakengard games, dragon-obsession came on sometime in mid-to-late 2014. So it wasn't causative but it was formative.

I'd never heard of Shadowrun until now but it looks interesting. Drakengard was definitely one of my favorite games when I went through my JRPG phase as a teen

I loved 3. I didn't get a chance to finish 1, and from what I've heard 2 is kind of unpleasant.
