If you start your questioning by asking "what's wrong with this individual" you're guaranteed to find something wrong with that individual. But complex systems can be fixed in many different ways. The tendency to banish social demons into individuals is economic, not scientific.
The second part is reasonable. I don't mean that things like schizophrenia or sociopathy are just social constructs or anything certainly. It's more like I anticipate people going "Oh, you're right about the true name of x but it's easier to destroy x than correct everyone else".
