if people committed specific crimes, like assault, building/bringing pipe bombs, etc, they need to be criminally, charged and it would be a miscarriage of justice if they aren’t. i don’t understand what justice outcome is accomplished by arbitrary shit like this.

and this opinion doesn’t stem at all from sympathy for these protestors, by the way. we should all be concerned about the downstream impact of groups of people arbitrarily being denied transportation, by people who have no tools for assessing their guilt.
