      Long term it has to sidestep at least some of these issues. Plus both the antinatalist and accelerationist in me says that a diminished ecosystem is actually fine and good if the alternative is less agreeable to the spirit.

      Most people have never suffered. Suffering requires you to lose your footing in a radical way. Conversely, some people suffer easily. Overall it's pointless to think there's a single objective formula for what's really a matter of subjective calibration, but suffering still bad.
