being morally inert (innocent) is worse than being morally bad the world is morally entropic, and "just existing" generates evil of which you're willfully ignorant- making it an especially grievous kind of evil, because it gets hidden behind "good intentions" or "innocence"
I have an engineering mindset so my thought is that morality should compel people to do and not do things and have practical responses for non-compliance and other than that I basically don't care.
