If someone I confidently know to be enemy is saying it, then I probably *should* be extra suspicious! Or at least wonder if they mean things differently than I do. And common sense sentence interpretation is overrated anyways. Otoh, destroying average people is a fun + noble duty
It's great that you can destroy the average person's ability to interpret a sentence according to common sense just by presenting yourself as their enemy. Just repeat their own value system back to them and watch them reject it, or get them to renounce their own foundations.
