If you think for an oppressive class to be oppressive it needs to extract value from those they oppress... I really don't know how to reach you, your brain has been thoroughly rotted with marxism.

Parents have the the most probable strong incentives to care about their kids. In theory, parents should be like personal advocates, agents, or the like. It could be handled by contract law maybe, but since nobody consents to be born there are problems with that. Other reasons.
Genuinely think this will be a moot point in 50-100 years when large scale computer simulations are possible, because then you can find the conditions of consent through non-conscious simulation before inception.
