Is there even such a thing as a Chinese conservative (in American terms)? Like in America you have people that just won't do the thing. Their ancestors didn't do the thing and goddamnit neither will they. It seems like everyone in China just wants to make thing work for them.
I guess it's cultural because we have Hong Kong and Taiwan as counterexamples though.
The Mainland Chinese Commies used to kill or abort potential opposition. Society will take 2 or 3 generations to heal, IMHO. But in Taiwan, the government can hardly enforce traffic rules in the South. & after 22 hours, cops simply don’t care anymore about minor violations.
