I'm sceptical about the future of the Chinese. I just don't see what advantages a nation of 1.4 billion hyper-dedicated strivers has over a dwindling pool of idle dilettantes like me.
They're already rewriting The Bible. China isn't content to overcome the west, they want to rewrite time.
