You can't predict the implications of a successful successor theory except to say that by nature it explains the same phenomenon. You can't even say that it won't completely repartition the interpretation of those phenomenon. After all, all theories are embedded in consciousness.
If I can't predict the implications of a "successful successor theory", then I can't define that theory. It's meaningless woo. Either we can predict its implications, or it isn't a theory. That's literally what a theory in science is.
