Sort of think that everyone knows that making schools into terrible differentiators will harm the ability to discern minority talent, but that they're gambling on incentives being strong enough that this will result in overcorrection rather than undercorrection (It won't though).
I mean, it might in certain sectors (government employment). So I guess it's just a gamble that state interests will continue to align more and more strongly with minority interests. Maybe? It's not a risk I would take, but I understand desperation.
