Most opinions are not false or secondhand, fallen misinterpretations of academic source texts, but partially true, firsthand, risen interpretations of reality or bioconditioning. Academic arguments are cleaner and more formalized, but don't bear the scars of the real.
Stereotypes are low fidelity images of the world that don't allow for conditioned probabilistic assessments. Also, this combines in certain types of games with actions that destroy information that could be used for such purposes, or even the conditions which produce it.
