What are you thinking about here when you say "well-thought out capitalist theory"?
The only authors I've really read have been Friedman, Rothbard, and excerpts of Nozick. Extensions of each can be made that are in turn better and more consistent to first principles than any of the authors themselves. I guess it's the extensions I'm thinking of.
