Solution to the high price of higher education: Cap the prices that state colleges and universities can charge. Comments?

Privatize lending will bring a free market solution to a government created problem. No private bank will loan $100k for a teaching or social work degree and therefore universities will not be able to charge $100k for that degree.
Incomplete solution without also privatizing K-12. Right now the only factors the market has to discern quality of investment are the opinions of mediocre to bad K-12 teachers. The war for indoctrination and forced equality just gets shifted 100% onto younger kids.

Also, what's wrong with a Lambda school style payment plan? It aligns incentives very well, regardless of what else you think about Lambda school.
