if you think you know how to do inference and you don't hold, quietly or otherwise, a lot of positions that people would consider crazy as fuck, hate to be the bearer but you don't know how to do inference
I've gone a step further and assigned probabilities to a collection of different explanations for things that sum to one without including any mainstream perspectives at all.
