When these people rebel against having options, against having the self-reflective capacity to alter yourself, to evaluate between possible values and choose one (eg what ethics is). They're rebelling against thought itself. A war to embrace unthinking death, becoming automatons.

You either are or aren't free in which case thinking the other is error. Thinking the other does not reify you into a state of actually existing under the opposite metaphysics.
