I would hire attitude over technical skills all the time. You can always teach somebody technical stuff.

1. That's not even logically the correct thing to assert to rebut the point 2. A lot of "low EQ" people are in fact autistic, so all your neurotypical horseshit is really just a way of saying you want to selfishly obliterate one of the only safe spaces for neurodivergent people

My apologies to interrupt But IMO OP did not intend to imply that IQ & EQ are mutually exclusive Instead OP claims by cost analysis it may be more effective / efficient to hire persons with higher EQ May be incorrect but I posit the OP would gladly hire autistic folk

EX: Would it be less costly on a biz to successfully teach a newbie "2 + 2 = 4" or to teach a newbie "it is polite to acknowledge another human's entrance into a room, even if said acknowledgement is as slight as a nod in that person's general direction"
