I'm not entirely sure what democratizing the Singularity would imply, but I'm in favor of it.
I prefer adapting patchwork/archipelago to a post scarcity context where none of its downsides are relevant anymore tbh. Homomorphically encrypted modular virtual worlds with synthetic consciousness, auditable via blockchain or equivalent registries of quale sequences
