Just wait until these people start writing laws about it. Like it or not, the legal fiction is going to be that a copy is one and the same, to preserve estates as well as criminal and civil culpability

to preserve estates, one can just let people put their assets into a trust. no different from existing inheritance laws if they aren't the same, putting criminal liability onto the copy is simply a monstrous injustice
