well, depends on what the suffering is are we talking about toothaches? then that kind of meaningless suffering should be alleviated but suffering is, broadly, the world not being the way we want it to be- and the only way to completely end that is through universal death

I think the suffering is real. I also think it would, again generally, be insane to fundamentally change how every single person behaves instead of just alleviating the suffering if you had the power to do either
