if feminism rests on flawed premises (and is, in fact, a generalization and extension of *chivalry*), wouldn’t criticizing it be *progressive*, and apologizing for it, and reinforcing it through activism, and entrenching it as orthodoxy in our institutions be *reactionary*?
Feminism is an essentialism couched in materialist terms. Hence anti trans radfems. "But if trans women are women, then woman can mean anything!" And? Existentialist phenomenology already implies that. Man is doomed to be free. So is woman.
