why would the Left want “civil war”,-to meet the Right on a battlefield on which they are comfortable the Right want civil war the Left will never give it to them, the Left will just sit back and watch the Right slip on the litany of banana peels stretched out before them
I thought about this in respect to Popper's Nazi saying "I don't argue, I shoot". Wanting to shoot when you're good at shooting and bad at arguing is wanting to change the game to one where you have the advantage
