Love to check in on the "rationalist" community where open deification of Bezos is perfectly reasonable but people sneering at him are clearly irrational and without merit. And then people are surprised by basic arguments against monopoly and IP.

The great problem with introducing some people to bayes is they instantaneously fix whatever mishmash of ignorances, biases, traditions, and assumptions they hold in that moment as FIRM PRIORS.
I don't trust anyone who hates Popper personally. Especially if they dismiss him as a naive empiricist or counter him with the naive versions of the arguments he spent all his time attacking.
