Yeah they're children for whom violence is a unilateral fantasy. The idea someone might hit back is infuriating. The other side of this fantasy is the idea of the state as pure subjective force.
Can you elaborate on the second half of that?
I mean they have two fantasies of unilateral violence side by side: unprovoked state oppression, and their own provocation of others that should never elicit a violent response.
It's just surreal that anyone, let alone a large group of people, thinks that chasing someone down en masse isn't threatening. I get threatened by people when they get closer than 2.5-3 arms lengths to me unannounced. I don't even understand what they were hoping to accomplish.
